Zombicide: 2nd Edition

Zombicide comes in many flavours, but the 2nd Edition remains my favourite. I took my time with this one, carefully painting each miniature and optimising the bases to give them that extra bit of character.

The painting process was a basecoat in acrylics followed by oil washes and this was actually my first time working with oil paints. The results were so satisfying that oils have become a regular part of my workflow ever since. There’s something about the way they flow into recesses and create depth that acrylics alone just can’t replicate.
