Tamashii: Chronicle of Ascend

A surprise hit for me. I have always been drawn to cyberpunk, with Ghost in the Shell being my first real introduction to the genre, and Tamashii captures that feeling beautifully. You play as a soul jumping between bodies, completing missions that are fast to play but rich in atmosphere.

For the painting I leaned almost entirely into oil paints, keeping things deliberately simple by focusing on blues and purples. I think it captures the cyberpunk vibe perfectly. The details like LED eyes and weapons were picked out with acrylics after varnishing, giving them a sharper, cleaner finish on top of the oil base.
