Cthulhu Death May Die: Season 1

Cosmic horror has been a passion of mine since my pen and paper days, and Death May Die is my favourite take on the theme in board game form. The atmosphere is spot on, the investigators are wonderfully varied, and the monsters and cultists look absolutely terrifying, in the best possible way.

The investigators and cultists were painted using the classic basecoat, wash and layer technique. For the monsters I switched to oil paints, which add a deeper contrast and bring out the grotesque detail in the sculpts in a way acrylics alone just can’t match.
